Congratulations to the boys for a successful tournament at Soccerworld Docks.

With our pool of talented players, our two teams represented Unionville-Milliken Strikers and with great pride,
both our teams placed as champions and finalists. The UMSC 1998 Strikers White team came in first in the
round-robin with only a one goal lead over the UMSC 1998 Strikers Red team and then in the final, the Red
team "technically" won by only one goal.

The tournament presented many surprises and nail-biting action. The coaches were able to test the strengths and
weaknesses of many players but needless to say, they all performed extremely well. Good work boys!!

A special thank you to Mark Hoyte for coming out and helping the boys and Kudos to Matt Braithwaite
and Soccerworld for offering the players of both teams Champion trophies.

Thanks also to the class and professionalism of the referees who made the tournament a safe and fun
environment for all. You are a credit to the sport!
